204. Tension Free Vaginal Tape in the treatment of Urinary Stress Incontinence after Radical Surgery and Following X-Ray Therapy.

Three women developed severe stress urinary incontinence after radical surgery: two patients had a Piver III radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer whilst one patient had Piver II hysterectomy for cervical cancer. All patients received whole pelvic adjuvant radiation.They presented grade IV stress incontinence and a mean maximal closure pressure of 39.5 cm H2O: mean functional urethral length of 20 mm and a mean Q tip test of 31°. TVT was accomplished according to the published technique. The patients were discharged on first postoperative day, without catheter. At the average follow up of 21.56 months, the 3 women are satisfied and completelydry. No long term complications were lamented.
