Summary: Patients affected with genital prolapse must be carefully evaluated in order to determine exactly anatomo-pathological situation and therapeutic approach. Baden and Walker’s classification and ancillary diagnostic tools allow useful correlations between symptoms, objective findings and the best procedure to cure these patients.
